Last sunday I went to a book fair which was held at B.M.I.C.H with my father, mother and brother. We went by bus. When we reached the place, it was 9.00 am. It was just after the opening. Many of my school friends were also there withe their families. I bought some book on music. My father bought me two English books. My sister also bought short stories and cartoons. It was very difficult for us to get our mother out of the cookery book section. Father bought some books on health. We spent a lot of time there selecting various books. Therefore about 2.30 pm we came to the colombo railway station and caught the 2.45 train home.

Last year I and my family went to Jaffna by train. My friend family also join us. We got on the 11.30 train from Weyangoda railway station. I and my friend caught a corner seat as we wanted to watch the changing scenery. But we couldn't see the surrounding area batter as it was very dark so father told us to get some sleep. When my mother got me up was 6.30 am. After having breakfast we started our visit in jaffna.                         We visited a lot of interesting places in Jaffna. We could see all the people were very happy and peacefully as the war is over. That night we stayed at a hotel in Jaffna.  Next morning we started our return journey. We passed very interesting places like paddy fields, jungles, and rivers. The beautiful villages we passed still come to my mind. About 2.30 pm we returned our house. It was in enjoyable experience to all of us.
