A visit to a Botanical Garden

 During the last weekend, we went to peradeniya botanical garden. Everyone loves flowers, their beauty as well as their fragrance.

When we reached the garden it was 10 o' clock we walked all over the garden, admiring the flowers and the large shady trees. The best attraction was the orchid house. There were various kinds of orchid flowers. 

We could see a large number of both local and foreign tourists there that day. There were several large trees that were planted by foreign visitors in order to mark their visit to sri lanka. At about 1.00 p.m we had our lunch under the shade of a huge tree. 

We look snaps of various beautiful flowers and plants. We spent nearly three hours in the garden. After an enjoyable day we reached home safely.
