Bob Marley
Bob Marley was born on the 6th of February, 1945. He was a pioneer of Jamaican reggae music and a singer, guitarist, and composer from Jamaica. Probaly He was the first Jamaican reggae performer to gain considerable international popularity, and he is often regarded as one of the genre's best artists. He was born in the Jamaican town of Rhoden Hall, in the parish of Saint Ann. When Marley founded his first band, the Rudeboys, in 1961, he was learning the welding trade in Kingston. The Wailers were the name given to the group later on. Bunny Livingston and Peter Tosh, both vocalists for the Wailers, went solo and found success in their new endeavors. The group's early records were in the ska genre, which is a cross between New Orleans rhythm & blues and Jamaican mento.
